Tirol Lodge at the Wilder Kaiser
The Tirol Lodge is located directly at the valley station of the Hartkaiser gondola lift and is the perfect starting point for your sporting adventure in the Alps. Our unique concept makes the Tirol Lodge your holiday base in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains.

The unique concept makes the Tirol Lodge special: our three lodges are located right next to the valley station of the Hartkaiser gondola lift and impress with their modern design. Straight lines and clear shapes provide a pleasant contrast to the surrounding mountains. At the foot of the Hartkaiser, we have designed and built a modern village for our guests using local timber. Best of all, everything you need for your holiday is within walking distance – perfect for leaving the car in the underground car park and enjoying the absolute feeling of freedom to take a deep breath.
Winter sports in Ellmau
The Tirol Lodge is located right next to the valley station – you can be out of bed and on the mountain in just five minutes. The Hartkaiser gondola lift takes you to the ski resort Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world. Lugging ski equipment? Not with us. The ski hire is waiting next door. Queuing at the lift ticket office? No, thank you. Your ski passes will be ready for you on arrival.
Everything here is specially tailored to the needs of athletes and sports enthusiasts: not only can you book your room quickly and easily, but also your equipment and even ski lessons. In our 1,200m² sports shop you will find everything a sportsman’s heart desires – from modern carvers to touring skis and cross-country skiing equipment to fast toboggans.
Immerse yourself in the fantastic mountain world of the Wilder Kaiser region. Blue skies, clear mountain air, imposing mountain ranges and fresh forests will recharge your batteries.

We really heat things up here: sweat it out in the “Schwitz & Chill” panoramic sauna with the best view of the Wilder Kaiser guaranteed. And for those who prefer a swim, the year-round heated outdoor pool in the “Badl” is just right. In the outdoor fitness area, you can strengthen your muscles if you feel like an extra training session before or after an active day on the mountain.
Afterwards, you can chill out in the relaxation room with a view of the Kaiser and in the lobby lounge, our favourite place.

The clarity of our modern rooms and suites is designed to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The combination of urban style and alpine style continues indoors: all rooms and suites at the Tirol Lodge offer a fantastic view of the surrounding nature and are furnished with light-coloured, local wood. With the dimmable lighting, you can create the atmosphere you love and the unobstructed view of the Wilder Kaiser will finally dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
Our rain showers and our body/hair wash made from the finest mountain herbs such as rosemary, lemon balm and thyme provide the little spa effect you want for your holiday.
For an energy kick in the morning, our Nespresso machines are available in all rooms – and we’ll give you the daily capsule refill for free.

Junior Suite
For all those with big plans.
Are you looking for a cosy holiday – even for three or do you need more space? In our Junior Suite you will find pure comfort on 32 m².
In addition to a super-comfortable king-size bed, there is also a pull-out couch. Ideal for an afternoon nap or a holiday with a small group. However, you’ll have to work out between yourselves who gets the sofa bed.
As befits a suite, we have created plenty of storage space for you – and made of 100% wood. Also included: a bathroom with shower, a WC, free high-speed WiFi and, for romantics, dimmable lamps.

During the day, the glitter of snow crystals, in the evening a clear starry sky lights up the room. If it is too dark, dimmable lamps provide pure romance!
There is also plenty of storage space for all your utensils, a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. Of course, there is also enough storage space made of 100% wood for all the things you need for a holiday.
Fancy a little romance? All lamps can be dimmed and you can conjure up campfire romance in your room in no time using the flat-screen TV or the free high-speed WiFi.

Whether you’re travelling alone or as a couple – this is the right place for you!
During the day the glittering snow crystals, in the evening a clear starry sky lights up the room. Pure romance! That’s why we have positioned the king-size bed or the two single beds in front of the window so that you can always keep in touch with the man in the moon. All lamps are also dimmable.
In addition, there is of course plenty of storage space for all your utensils, a bathroom with shower and a separate WC.
Not a fan of romance? No problem, our double room has a flat-screen TV with numerous channels and free high-speed WiFi

Family Suite
We are of the opinion “more is not possible.” Our family suite is quite large at 54 m². Beautifully furnished with 100% wooden furniture and very flexible with two king-size beds and a pull-out couch. You can “make yourself beautiful” in both bathrooms with shower. Whether alternating or one behind the other – that’s entirely up to you.
We have also included separate WCs in the family suite – two of them.
All those guests for whom the view of the Wilder Kaiser is still not enough entertainment need not do without flat-screen TV and high-speed WiFi.
